In 2020, my life changed overnight.
I was diagnosed with neuroendocrine cancer and severe heart failure.
Shortly afterwards, I received a further diagnosis of skin cancer.
The shock was overwhelming.
But very quickly, I made a decision.
I refused to hand my power over completely to fear, helplessness or survival mode.
Instead, I became deeply focused on understanding what creates lasting transformation within the brain, body and nervous system — not only for my clients, but now for myself.
At the time, I had already spent years helping other people work through trauma, emotional conditioning and deeply ingrained behavioural patterns.
But this experience forced me to go far deeper.
I realised that if I wanted to truly heal and transform my life, I could not continue living, thinking and responding in the same ways that had shaped my past.
Something fundamental had to change.
I began applying everything I had taught for years — while immersing myself even further in neuroscience, neural retraining, nervous system regulation, emotional processing and subconscious transformation.
I became fascinated by how repeated stress, emotional overwhelm and survival patterns can shape the body’s internal environment and influence the way we think, feel, respond and function over time.
This was no longer theoretical work.
It became deeply personal.
Every day, I worked intentionally with my nervous system, emotional patterns, subconscious conditioning and physiological state — learning in real time how powerfully the brain and body adapt to repeated experiences.
And through that process, something profound happened.
The work evolved.
What had once been a professional passion became a complete life reset — shaping the nervous-system-led transformational approach that now underpins The Life Reset Cycle™ and The Transformation Hub today.

Rewiring My Brain, Healing My Past

During this time, something else began to happen that I had not expected.
As my nervous system came under immense pressure, deeper emotional patterns and unresolved experiences from earlier in my life began to surface.
I realised that healing was not only about my physical body.
It was also about the emotional conditioning, subconscious patterns and survival responses that had been shaping the way I thought, felt and responded to life for years.
By this point, I had already spent years helping other people work through trauma, emotional patterns and behavioural conditioning.
But now the work had to turn inward.
And I quickly realised that insight alone was not enough.
Lasting transformation required working directly with the brain, nervous system and the deeper patterns stored within the body and subconscious mind.
I began working with myself intensely.
I deepened my meditation practice, regulated my nervous system daily and created therapeutic audios to help my brain and body process overwhelming emotions in real time.
When fear surfaced, I worked with it.
When old emotional patterns appeared, I processed them instead of suppressing them.
This was not surface-level work.
I immersed myself even further in neuroscience, neural retraining and nervous system regulation — learning how repeated thoughts, emotions and stress responses can become deeply embedded automatic patterns over time.
I began interrupting long-standing emotional loops, retraining my nervous system to respond differently and consciously creating new neural and emotional pathways.
I was working simultaneously with the mind, the body, the nervous system and the subconscious patterns driving behaviour.
And through this process, my understanding of transformation changed profoundly.
I came to understand that real change happens when we stop automatically recreating the past — and begin reinforcing a different way of thinking, feeling and living.
A New Chapter...
Much to my Cardiac Professor’s amazement, I was able to reverse my heart failure.
I still remember my GP saying to me at the time:
“Whatever you are doing, keep doing it.”
But I knew something even more important.
I could not go back to the life I had been living before.
Because that version of my life — the stress, the pressure, the patterns, the way I had been thinking, responding and functioning for years — had played a significant role in where I found myself.
So I made another life-changing decision.
I chose a complete Life Reset.
I sold my clinic, relocated to the Isle of Wight and began creating a far more intentional, regulated and balanced way of living.
Looking back now, I feel deep gratitude for everything I went through.
The experience forced me to go deeper than I ever had before — helping me truly understand how the brain, nervous system and subconscious patterns shape the way we think, feel, behave and experience life.
It became clear to me that lasting transformation is not created through insight alone.
It happens when we begin interrupting the automatic patterns that keep recreating the past and start reinforcing a different way of living, responding and being.
That understanding became the foundation of The Life Reset Cycle™ and the work I now share with clients around the world.
Today, I help people move beyond survival-based patterns and reconnect with a greater sense of regulation, flexibility, emotional freedom and possibility.
Because change really is possible.
And when we learn how to reset the patterns shaping our lives, we create space for an entirely different future.
